Collaborative Consultant | Startup M&A, Valuation and Corporate Finance
Cindy Bedard is a seasoned finance professional with over 15 years of experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and business valuation. Cindy specializes in formulating business cases and the associated economics in both growth and restructuring scenarios.
Cindy spent the last 7 years with Cerberus Capital Management leading the financial modeling team for due diligence and deal activity. In this role, she has created numerous business cases and corresponding financial models both from a detailed bottoms up operating view, as well as from an LBO (Leveraged Buyout) standpoint. Cindy has worked on deals ranging in size from several million to in excess of $15 billion. Similarly, Cindy has managed modeling teams ranging from 2 to 20 people.
At Cerberus, Cindy's industry experience varied and included retail, technology, manufacturing, transportation, and service-based businesses. While at Cerberus, Cindy also participated in the successful restructuring of two portfolio companies.
Prior to Cerberus, Cindy worked for Gores Technology Group where her focus was acquiring mature technology business with a proven revenue stream, but that were often mismanaged or non-core to the seller's overall business model. Cindy started her career in consulting with time spent at both KPMG and Arthur Andersen performing business and intangible asset valuations, as well as M&A advisory work.
Cindy enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family in the town of Denver, CO where she resides. Cindy received a BA in Economics and a Minor in Management from the University of California at Irvine in 1994.
