Purpose: Used to form relationships with key customers or strategic partners and develop formal
deals/contracts.

Key Attributes: Moves existing discussions or business case documents forward to a formal contract. Each proposal is entirely unique, but most include some discussion of products, business, value propositions, competitive differentiation, and proposed deal structure (e.g., licensing, revenue share, distribution, co-marketing, co-branding, co-development, etc.). Likely includes specific deal terms, roles and responsibilities, funding needs and uses, financial projections or scenarios, and next steps (often a legal contract drafted by attorneys).
