Jamie has spent the last eight years helping new businesses with finance and strategy. He has expertise in strategic and operational finance, competitive analysis and market research. He has assisted startups on various matters including venture financings, acquisitions, restructurings, board of director presentations and revenue and expense forecasting.

Prior to joining VentureArchetypes, Jamie held finance positions at Intel Corp. and WebMD Corp. where he evaluated new internal and external business opportunities and worked on special projects for the CFO’s office. In addition, Jamie led the finance department at RespondTV, an interactive television infrastructure provider, and assisted the company in raising over $30 million. Jamie also worked with the senior management of eMotion, a digital asset management provider, to complete a successful restructuring and capital raise. Additionally, Jamie has created long-term financial projections for numerous enterprise software companies.

Jamie opened his own restaurant franchise in 2002. As well as obtaining financing for the restaurant, he developed and implemented the initial marketing campaign which resulted in his unit ranking fourth in sales amongst the 3,300 restaurants in the chain after just six days. Jamie independently sold the restaurant in 2005.

Jamie was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2001. He graduated with Highest Honors from the Business Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance.
