Brita Moeller has over eight years of professional experience in strategy consulting, media, and communications, with a background in the management of creative projects. She has a particular ability to generate the “buzz”, momentum, and energy necessary to get a startup noticed, and more importantly, funded.
Brita comes from a legacy of entrepreneurship; she understands the mind of the entrepreneur and has first-hand knowledge regarding the process of raising capital. Her first job was working for her father’s business, a pharmaceutical development company, which had its start in a university research lab. As the company grew, she was able to experience the progression through all stages of the startup life cycle: from idea to implementation, from product R&D and clinical studies to FDA approval, and from early round seed funding to a successful IPO.
Prior to joining VentureArchetypes, Brita consulted for start-ups and small businesses on their marketing, strategy, and business plans. She has advised clients in the following sectors: advertising, computer hardware and software, consumer Internet, communications, media, networking hardware and software, retail, and sports marketing.
Previously, Brita was Vice President of New Business Development at MAGNA Global Trading, a division of the advertising holding company Interpublic Group (IPG). Brita worked for PGA TOUR Productions and was responsible for writing and producing commercials, features, and television shows to build the PGA TOUR brand name nationally and internationally. She was on the NBC broadcast team that produced the Olympics from Sydney, Australia. Her work has aired on ABC, CNBC, ESPN, MSNBC and other major
networks, as well as overseas.
Brita has an MBA from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management and completed the Financial Analyst training program at the New York Institute of Finance.
